ARTIST STATEMENT

The medium of photography fascinates me as I discover more of New York City's architectural design, history and how humanity relates to the urban environment.

Black & white/sepia tones are at the core of my photographic art, which comprises the oldest part of my practice. By applying sepia tones, I articulate my own focal perspective on the scenes captured by imbuing them with evocative, nostalgic and historical tones.

It is my hope that you will view other categories that I have in my Portfolio Galleries.

There is "magic" in having a photographic idea and letting it materialize, then doing as many different things with it.

I have watched as this transformative process took on a life of its own.
